How to add a link
You can insert a link in the virtual assistant's answers in two ways: as a button and simply include it in the text or you can use a tap action - open a specific link when the user clicks on a text or image of a virtual assistant.
Button with link
- To add a virtual assistant's reply message that includes a button that opens the link, click on the state.
- In the state editing window, click Add.
- Select the virtual assistant's action Herocard.
- Fill in the fields on the card, and to add a button, click on Add.
- Select a Button with link.
- To open the button editing window, click on the new button.
- In the Button title field, type a name that will appear on the button.
- In the Value field, specify the web address to open when the user clicks the button.
- Click Save.
- Save the state information and click on Publish all in the scenario.
Link in the text
- To insert a link in the text, open the state.
- In the state editing window, click on Add.
- Select the Text action.
- Type the output of the virtual assistant, including the link in the following way: enclose the text that will be displayed as a link in brackets and add the web address in parenthesis without space. For example,
[Tilde](https://tilde.lv). - Save the new state information and publish the scenario.
Tap action
- To add a tap action that opens the link if the user clicks on the text or image in the conversation, open the state.
- In the state editing window, click on Add.
- Select the virtual assistant's action Herocard.
- Fill in the fields on the card and click a multipoint in the upper-right corner of the herocard.
- Select Add tap action.
- To open the tap action editing window, click the orange Add information button.
- In the Type field, select Open URL.
- In the Value field, specify the web address that the virtual assistant opens when the user taps the picture or text.
- Click Save.
- Save the new state information and publish the scenario.
