Importing and exporting translations

Manage your website translations effectively by exporting them for backup or external editing, and importing updated or backed-up versions back into Wordpress to update your translations.

Exporting translations

Export translations as a .csv file for backup purposes or to edit using external tools. Subsequently, import the modified file back into Tilde Website Translator to update your translations.

To export translations:

  1. In the plugin’s settings, open the Advanced tab.
  2. On Manage translations tab, click Export translations.

Importing translations

Restore translations from a previous backup or import edited translations from external tools using a .csv file format.

To import translations:

  1. In the plugin’s settings, open the Advanced tab.
  2. Open Manage translations tab.
  3. Next to Import translations, click Choose file.
  4. Upload your .csv file with translations.
  5. Click Import translations.
