Translation memory
Your private translation memory is a database that stores your saved translations, shared across all your projects.
Enable or disable translation memory
By default suggestion lookup and update is enabled. Disable translation memory, when you don't want to overwrite saved translations. Note that these settings can be adjusted individually for each project.
To change translation memory settings:
- In the editor view, click Translation memory settings tab.
- Lookup - enable to see the suggestions from translation memory.
- Update - enable to save translations to translation memory.
Save translations to translation memory
Translations are saved to the translation memory upon segment confirmation. Confirm by pressing Ctrl+Enter
or clicking the ✔️ icon in the toolbar.
Use in translation
To select a translation memory suggestion:
- On the right panel, click on the translation suggestion. or
- On they keyboard, press

Search in translation memory
To search matches in translation memory:
- On the right panel, find Term look up.
- Input the phrase you want to find.
- Select Search matches from menu.
- Click Look up
Searched phrase is displayed on top of every match. The results will include all matches that contain the full phrase you entered.
Deleting translations
Users cannot delete saved translations from the Translation Memory. If you prefer not to save translations, you can disable this feature in the Settings.
