Creating and Editing a Test
As soon as at least one source is added to a topic, you can start creating tests.
- From the topic menu panel on the left side of the screen, open the “Tests” section.
- Click the “New Test” button.
- Choose a test title — you can change it later.
- Specify how many questions you want and what types.
When creating test questions, the learning tool offers two options:
- Questions and answer choices are generated by AI
- Questions and answer choices are created manually by the administrator
You can include the following three types of questions in a test:
- Yes/No questions
- Multiple-choice questions with 3 answer options and one correct answer
- Open-ended questions with a free text input field
- Click “Create”.
- The newly created test will appear at the top of the test list for that topic.
- Open your new test and review it! If needed:
- Edit the wording of questions and answers
- Rearrange the order of questions
- Delete any questions you don’t like
- Add additional questions
- Your test is ready!
Pay special attention to the wording of open-ended questions and their expected answers. The more precise they are, the more accurately the AI can evaluate the user’s responses.
If you choose AI to generate questions and answers, note that they will be based on all currently added sources for the topic.
Try out AI capabilities — feel free to generate more questions than needed. You can easily remove the unnecessary ones later.
You can create tests entirely on your own without using AI-generated content. For example, you can input content from an already prepared worksheet.
You can create an unlimited number of tests under a single topic.
Test Status
Each test has a status — “Active” or “Inactive.” When a test is no longer relevant, you can change its status to “Inactive.” In that case, the test link will be disabled, and users won’t be able to access it. You can also delete a test entirely.
Download a Test for Printing
Tests can be used not only digitally. Use the download option to get a neatly formatted version in editable .docx format.
Test Scoring
Each test question is worth one point.
- A correct answer earns 1 point
- An incorrect answer earns 0 points
- Open-ended answers are evaluated by the AI as correct, partially correct, or incorrect. A partially correct answer earns 0.5 points.
Test Completion Statistics
For each test, you can view statistics, including:
- Number of test completions
- Highest score achieved
- Lowest score achieved
- Average score
- Average completion time
- Date and time of the last completion
- Average score per question
