What is Tilde Transcribe?

Tilde Transcribe is a speech to text tool that allows users to easily transcribe audio and video files into text, edit the transcript and download it afterwards.

How can I improve the quality of my transcripts?

To achieve accurate and high-quality transcriptions, the quality of the audio provided is crucial. Here are some tips to ensure the best results:

  1. Record in a Quiet Environment: Choose a quiet setting with minimal background noise and interference.
  2. Use a Good Microphone: If possible, use a microphone positioned no more than 0.5 meters from you. Headset microphones often provide high-quality recordings.
  3. Speak Clearly: Articulate your words clearly and at a moderate pace. Avoid mumbling or speaking over others.
  4. Improve results in transcription editor: After transcription, use Tilde Transcribe's editing view to listen to the audio and correct any mistakes or errors.

If you only need additional minutes for a certain period, you can then downgrade the plan by, for example, deleting the additional minutes from your subscription plan.

Is a free trial of Tilde Transcribe available?
